Gotta be japanese drama if it is manga related. If it is ancient history setting type of story, chinese (cantonese) drama are the best. I love hana yori dango (japanese version) and it was the best. The storyline didn't get skew nor the character. The scenary was exactly like teh manga. I saw the taiwanese version of it and i thought it suck! I wonder how the korean version will be like, but overall love japanese drama if based on manga.

hmm i think im a native chinese speaker i kinda prefer more on chinese dramas (Hong Kong DRAMAs Only, dramas from china bores me), but as i also like Japanese drama secondary, but i kinda reckon jap dramas sometimes quite often ends short, or the ending just sucks, but well if i compare the suckiness of them china dramas is the worse of them all, i rate korean higher than it.

taiwanese drama is good but its just tooo long ....20 episodes or more
japanese drama is alright too
korean drama stretches it out too long as well (and there has to be some disease, car accident, or something that involves tear-shedding)

they are all good...but it depends on the drama

I prefer Korean dramas since it's what I've been watching for the longest time. I'll still watch jdramas and others if there's a good storyline.

It really does depend on the story line. Usually most dramas tend to drag on at the end, which is kind of annoying. But I realised that the Japanese Dramas that I've seen so far don't do that... so I guess I prefer Japanese dramas.

koreans are masters of the entertainment world!
they have experienced actors and actresses and the storyline is generally well thought out.
although sometimes japanese dramas make me laugh more..xD
it really does vary but chinese isn't as good as these 2 tops

It's rather hard to pick because in each category, there are brilliant dramas that just touch your heart and move you to tears of joy, and there are the ones that make you want to smack your head onto a head surface simply to end the torture. But I suppose in general, I tend to gravitate towards Japanese and HK dramas.

I prefer the korean and taiwanese boy actors. but I like japanese dramas for their unique plots. I liked Hana Yori Dango the drama. I read the manga as well so I've gone through the story twice. I can't bring myself to watch it a third time.

I usually go for the Japanese ones.
I don't understand Korean and they're mostly too sad/sappy for me.
The Chinese actresses usually overdo the acting.

Also, I like the shorter length of Japanese dramas =)
