PostSubject: Chinese, Korean, or Japanese?   Sun May 25, 2008 11:51 am

Which is your favorite? I've got favorite series in all of them but I have to say that I like Taiwanese and Hong Kong (Chinese) most. The Koreans seem to overcomplicate very simple things, to me, and the Japanese don't expand enough!

But I'm alone in that amongst people I know. All of my friends like Japanese dramas the most, who like Asian dramas at all. What about you?

I don't prefer Korean or Japanese or Taiwanese in general. Depends on the story dn the cast, etc. But I think I prefer Korean dramas a little bit, but not much.

So far its korean, but there are many Japanese ones that have caught my eye. Its been ages since a Chinese one stirred any interest in me. If you guys have any suggestions, I would really appreciate it! happy

I am a bit biased as I have seen Kdramas mostly so I tend to prefer them but I am hoping to broaden my list and incorporate Chinese and Jdramas in them.

I like Japanese drama to some extent as they don't get too draggy... Sweet simple and has a message to it.. at least in my opinion...

I like korean dramas too.. sumwhat i feel that koreans can act better.. the guys are much more masculine...

the reason why i hate chinese is because the language is so rough on the ears. i just love korean dramas but they do tend to get boring but i prefer to watch korean dramas. and japanese dramas are too short

My favorite is Japanese because it is not only to entertain but they really have the moral behind each drama they make, well for me it's made the drama more worthwhile to watch. Korean come the second because I think mostly that i watch are very2 funny and can really be medicines for boredom.

For me, they're all on the equal line here, it just depends on the storyline. I hate it when dramas become too teary, and soppy near the end. It just drives me CRAZY!

I like Korean and Chinese... but i'm slightly bias because if the actors and actresses aren't attractive i won't watch it.

well i usually watch korean/taiwanese dramas such as Silence, full house and autumn in my heart...but i'm not really a fan of japanese dramas for some odd reason o_O LOOVE mangas though lol obviously...tht's why i'm here heh
i love korean dramas coz well they've got interesting plots but the only problem i have with it is that other than full house, every other korean dramas i've watched has a SAD/HORRIBLE ending...which i really disappointing...hmm...but i really taiwanese dramas such as silence and Mars and meteor garden =D and unlike kdramas, out of all the tdramas i've watched only silence have a sad ending XD

Although I'm Chinese I gotta say Koreans make the best dramas!
Chinese/Taiwanese dramas are usually remakes of old legends and stuff and they can kinda drag. The acting in their modern day set dramas tend to veer on the corny side too. :p
I don't like Japanese dramas either because the acting also seems lacking and the story plots aren't well executed. Plus, the guys and girls try to bank to much on the cutesy image. It's annoying. XP

I don't really have a preference as to whether I like dramas better that originate in Korea , China, or Japan. But I guess that I watch more that come from Korea.

I have to say I'm a K-drama fan. The Japanese seems to always overdo it a bit and the Chinese is sometimes too cheesy.
